At Birk Hill we use Knowledge Organisers in class and as part of home learning. A Knowledge Organiser is a single sheet of paper that lists the important facts that children should know by the end of the term.
We expect every child to learn all of this information over the course of the term. We will assess the children’s knowledge through either questioning, using a short fun task, quiz or activity to see how much the children have remembered.
We will send home a paper copy at the start of each term, so that you know what your children are learning in school and can look at it with your child and talk to them about what they are learning.
